Hello and welcome back!
I have a simple recipe for you today that combines two of my favorite things: peanut butter and bacon. I love bacon in anything and on anything…and peanut butter I have to stop myself from eating right out of the jar!
So, it was only right that these two great ingredients come together… and make a to die for cookie.
Are you ready for Peanut Butter Bacon cookies? If so, here’s the recipe!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Peanut Butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1 pound of bacon
- 2 Eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- Fry bacon until tender. Drain fat and allow to cool. Then crumble.
- Stir peanut butter and sugar together until smooth. Then, beat in the eggs one at a time. Next stir in baking soda, salt, vanilla and 1/2 of the bacon.
- Roll batter into 1″ balls and place 2″ apart on a greased cookie sheet. Smash the balls with a fork and place remaining bacon on top.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes. Then, allow to cool for 5 minutes on the cookie sheet before removing.
There you go! I dare you to eat just one. I dare you!
